How to have your VegYatra account and everything linked to it removed.

What gets deleted

your profile (name, email, profile photo)
your reviews and star ratings
your "still pure veg?" and "eggless?" confirmations
your saved list
places you submitted that are still waiting for review, and their photos
promotion requests you sent

Places you added that were already approved stay on the site, because other travellers rely on them, but your name is removed from them.

How to ask

Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my VegYatra data".
Send it from the same email address you use to sign in (your Google or Facebook email), so we know the request is yours. If that is not possible, tell us the name shown on your reviews and we will check with you.
We delete the account within 7 days and reply to confirm. There is nothing else to do; signing in again afterwards would create a fresh, empty account.

If you signed in with Facebook

You can also remove VegYatra from your Facebook account under Settings & privacy › Settings › Apps and websites. That stops Facebook sharing your details with us. Email us as above if you also want the data we already hold to be deleted.

Want to keep the account but remove one thing?

Open the place, and under your review press Delete. Tap the heart on a place to remove it from your list. For anything else, email us.
